Description:
Rick Nagel is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in both Oregon and California.
Prior to the formation of Nagel & Padilla, Rick had practiced since 1987 as a sole practioner in his own CPA firm in Ashland, Oregon. He is a member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Prior to 1987, Rick worked primarily in the Los Angeles area with various CPA firms, was President of a real estate development company. He was employed by Wells Fargo Realty Services for a period of twelve years serving in his last position with them as Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. Rick also taught at Southern Oregon University and the Oregon College of Business.
Rick, along with his wife Yolanda, is most active in community involvement in Ashland and the Rogue Valley. He currently serves on the boards of directors of the Phoenix-Talent School District and On-Track (non-profit organization dealing with alcohol, drug and other problems for youth and adults). Rick is a member of Ashland Rotary and served twice as President of the Ashland Chamber of Commerce.
Rick is known as not just a numbers and tax man (albeit a good one), but a people-person as well.
Julie Padilla is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Oregon and is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
Prior to the formation of Nagel & Padilla, Julie worked for Richard A. Nagel, CPA. Before their association, she worked for Isler & Co., LLC Certified Public Accountants for 15 years performing the full spectrum of accounting functions.
Julie has extenisve experience in auditing, tax return preparation, consultation and representation, and is most knowledgeable in computer programs and applications. She is active in North Medford Rotary Club as Treasurer.
